First out in my list of mobile apps that survived 2014 trials and will be with me this year as I further explore the diversity of what people mean with "good childhood", and work to secure one for as many as possible.
Because every person has the right to at least one childhood that is good enough.
AUTIPLAN:
supports sequencing, connecting, associating word and images with, timing and time allocation for, steps involved to complete, and recall, of scheduled events.
The Good
It provides ability to customize form and content of information to be displayed; text-to-speech or audio
of choice as audible prompts, and for the imagery it includes access to several different libraries of pictograms as well as allowing for user created videos, sounds, and images.
I get an account online where I access, change, create and store, different schedules for different people(myself included).
I can choose to install an app on mobile devices, or access the right schedule by clicking a link that takes me to a specific schedule I have stored and created. That is great as I have more than one family that I work with, and at times more than one family member in each.
The editing is made very easy, and it is good to know that I my devices are synchronized.
I can also download schedules in different formats, create a link to mail to others, or even turn schedules into a barcode.
The Bad
The free version is not limited to a trial, but it converts from access to all features to being very restricted. I subscribe and find it worth it, although ordinarily I do not like subscriptions. But it makes perfect sense to be able to suspend without closing my account as I can have a month off from work when the families I regularly work with go on vacation.
The Price
Subscriptions available are:
• 1 month 7.95
• 2 months 15.90
• 6 months 47.70
• 12 months 79.50
(all prices include a 21% tax)
